I think the reason I love this photograph is because it is so confusing.
What is up with that woman's coat?
What is up with her hair?
Does she know she looks like a plum?
Does she care?

I would like to meet this little old lady.

Though I don't profess to be a bug lover, I'm certainly not a bug hater (maybe a spider freaker-outer though).
Anyway, I think this wallpaper is awesome!
I especially like that the print isn't just a small repeating pattern that might as well be some pedestrian floral print.

One thing I keep thinking about though, what if Kafka woke up as a bug in this room? Maybe he wouldn't have been so depressed about being a bug.

I enjoy that this logo is both cleaver AND includes a mustache.

I'm taking Art and Civilization of India and at the moment we are discussing the influence of Islam on Indian art.
I love the vivid colors, geometric patterns and repeating motifs that make Islamic art and architecture well known.
I think this interior is a beautiful example of what I mean.

I love cats...
Sorry.
This one is especially cute because it has giant eyes and foldy ears.

Living in NYC, this might as well be reality...
How cleaver

I have become a Sneaker Freak/Head since moving to New York.
A lot of major manufacturers like Nike and Reebok make limited run designs that feed the obsession, but my favorites are the hand painted sneakers done by hard core sneaker worshipers.
Here is one sweet example.

I love this because I love Totoro and I love old liquor advertisements.
Done and done.

So I believe this to be true.
Even though I am a designer...
Ironic?
I think not.
Realistic.

Ok so I am a horrible blogger....
It's been how many months since I last posted anything?
To be fair, I have been meaning to post something, but haven't thought anything I've experienced to be worth it.
That sounded more depressing than I meant...

So here is my new idea.
I have been keeping a folder on my desktop called "Inspirations" for quite some time now.
Inside the folder, divided in to appropriate categories of course, are things I have found in my lurking around the internet.
Mostly, they do inspire me or at least I hope they will in the future.

Now, in an attempt to update my blog more frequently, I am going to share these "Inspirations" with you.

However, I do know that you now refers to my dad only.

Here is for you dad.
